Mobiles, a classroom tool?

Professor Noeline Wright of Waikato University is assessing the program at Howick College in Auckland.
She says schools need to be vigilant to prevent bullying, theft and inappropriate texting but she backs the use of what she calls Swiss Army communication knives.
She says it’s draconian to keep tapping into 20th-century technology if 21st-century technology seems to work with today’s kids.
